Ingredients: For the dough: About 5½ cups all-purpose flour ½ cup warm water 1 cup milk 2½ teaspoons instant dry yeast 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 large egg 1 teaspoon salt 6 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon butter For the sauce: ½ cup mayonnaise ⅓ cup ketchup 2 tablespoons mustard 1 pickle, finely grated 1 tablespoon pickle juice 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon garlic powder Salt and black pepper to taste Mix everything well. For the filling: Cheddar cheese Caramelized onions Sliced pickles Sauce Cooked burger patties Cheddar cheese For the topping: 1 egg yolk A little water Sesame seeds or poppy seeds Instructions For the dough, add all the ingredients except the butter to a large bowl and knead for about 5 minutes. Add the softened butter and knead for another 5 minutes, until the dough is soft, smooth, and no longer sticks to your hands. Cover and let rise for about 45 to 50 minutes. For the burger patties, mix the ground beef with your seasonings. Do not add the salt yet. Season with salt while cooking. Divide the meat mixture into 6 equal portions. Place each portion in a small bowl or container and press it down with the bottom of a glass to flatten and shape it. Carefully remove the patties. Heat a nonstick skillet and add the burger patties. Once they begin to sizzle, lower the heat slightly so they do not burn. Cook until browned on both sides, seasoning with salt as they cook. Have all the remaining ingredients ready. Once the dough has risen, divide it into 6 equal portions. Take one portion of dough and roll it out until it is about the size of a small dessert plate
